The $20.00 Sweepstakes Game Card... the fundraiser’s secret sauce. All sweepstakes game cards have an equal chance to win prize money based on the performance of the random football teams printed on the back. The $20.00 game cards contain 3 random teams in each of the 17 weeks of the pro football season (you get 3 new teams each week).

To play the game, participants simply add up the points scored by their 3 teams. Every week, the 8 highest scoring game cards, and the 3 lowest scoring game cards all win prizes. Watch our short video for the best explanation of the game.

  • 9/10/2015 – FootballMania begins with the first Thursday professional football game of the season.
  • 9/14/2015 – Week 1 Winners Announced! Week 1 winners will be calculated and posted on the website after the Monday night football game. Game card holders can view how their teams performed and whether they won, on the CharityMania website. Each week winning game cards will be posted on Monday night after the final football game of the week is played.

About Our Council

Council 2953 was founded in December of 1945 through the efforts of James A. Davis, a local Druggist. It is named after Fr. Ambrose Dwyer, a Knight of Columbus, who came to be one of the best known and most loved Priests in the Syracuse Diocese.

Our council hosts a large number of council activities throughout the year. Annual activities include: Clam and Steak Bake, Super Bowl Party, Easter Celebration, JC Field Days, Turkey Party, and Children's Christmas Party. We also sponsor a Boy Scout Venture group.
